The Marvellous Moose preparing for the Busy Bee Bake Sale

We made some yummy cupcakes and cakes to sell at our Busy Bee Cake sale. What a great effort from all the Busy Bees- over $800 raised to help towards our School Visit to Motat :)

Daffodil Day

On Friday we all wore yellow and brought in a Gold coin to add to the schools coin trail. This was a great cause to support The Cancer Society.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Talitha :)

It was Talitha's Birthday on Friday. We tried to sing Happy Birthday in different languages. We all had chocolate cake to celebrate. I hope you had a great day Talitha.

Maths Week- The Marvellous Moose giving the challenges a go! We all had great fun :)

We had difficulty working out the bus problem in our Maths Challenge as so many people got on and off the bus! We decided to work out the problem practically...check out our bus. How many people will get off next and how many people will be left on the bus?

Sometimes we have to work together to solve maths problems as we all have different ways to work the problems out.

And sometimes we have to work independently to solve maths problems.

Cook Island Language Week

In Cook Island Language Week we made a Tivaevae (Treasured Quilt). We used pastels and Dye to draw our patterns on a patch. We joined it altogether when we were finished. Here is our final result.
